The Prairie du Chien Blackhawks softball team mashed five homeruns in a 12-2 6 inning win over River Valley.
The Flying Arrows produced seven runs in the third on six base hits in the third inning.
LaCrosse Central, Wisconsin’s top ranked Division 1 baseball team, defeated Prairie du Chien 6-0.
Tyler O’Kane went 4×4, with a single, a double, two home runs, and 7 run batted in. He also scored four times yesterday in Prairie du Chien’s 18-6 five inning victory over Platteville.
Cari Mergen struck out 11 Prairie du Chien batters and River Ridge held off a seventh inning rally to hang on.
In game two, pitcher Lindsey Mezera got the win AND the save for Prairie du Chien.
A nine run third inning helped Prairie du Chien make short work of Dodgeville Thursday.
PdC’s Tyler Kozelka gave up only three hits and struck out eight Tuesday afternoon.
River Valley’s Shannon McGuire struck out 15 batters to help her team outlast Prairie du Chien 3-1 in eight innings.
