The accident occurred Thursday night. Arthur Sherry, age 49, was operating a Honda Foreman ES 4×4 ATV on a property on Bishop Road. He was pulling a drag behind the ATV on a steep incline when it overturned trapping him under it.

Their vehicle initially stopped for a traffic violation. The canine unit of the Prairie du Chien police department assisted the Wisconsin State Patrol. Canine Aja sniffed the vehicle and alerted officers. It was subsequently searched and the drugs were found.

A car crashed into a Wauzeka-Steuben school bus Wednesday afternoon on Highway 60. Kenneth Borth, age 85, of Prairie du Chien did not realize the school bus was stopped when he drove his Chevy Malibu into the back of the bus.
A 50 year old man was found dead in his car Wednesday. A passerby saw the man slumped over in his vehicle parked on the side of the road on County X, near Highway 61 in Clayton Township. The Crawford County Sheriffs Department was notified at around 6:30pm.
During their mating season in October and November, deer will be more active especially at dusk and dawn when they move to and from their bedding and feeding areas. As a result, more deer will be darting onto highways this time of year.
