Gallery: Spirits of Wyalusing Past

The Friends of Wyalusing State Park held their “Spirits of Wyalusing Past” event Saturday evening. Among other things, participants walked about half a mile with a guide along a path lit by torches and hand-carved, lighted pumpkins.

The second annual Prairie Pool Puppy Paddle was held on Saturday at the aquatic park. At one time, over 40 dogs were swimming in the pool.



Dog Wash Helps Raise Money For PdC Area Animal Shelter

Thanks to the Rivers and Bluffs Animal Shelter, more than 55 dogs around the Prairie du Chien area got a little cleaner Saturday. Girl Scout Troop 188 volunteered to be dog washers.

The primary road to Wyalusing State Park and the Wyalusing Recreation Area in under construction this summer. Repaving work began about one week ago on County X.
