A twenty-two year old Crawford County man was injured in a farm accident Sunday afternoon.

Kurt Mezera was operating a corn picker on the Dan Mezera farm in Wauzeka Township. Mezera got his arm pinned in the picker.

Mezera used his cell phone to call for help. His arm was stuck in the machine for an hour an a half according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.

Mezera was flown to a Gunderson-Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, then later transferred to Rochester, Minnesota.
