Two Prairie du Chien Residents Arrested on Drug Charges

Two Prairie du Chien residents were taken into custody Monday afternoon after police officers discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in their vehicle.

Their vehicle initially stopped for a traffic violation. The canine unit of the Prairie du Chien police department assisted the Wisconsin State Patrol. Canine Aja sniffed the vehicle and alerted officers. It was subsequently searched and the drugs were found.

Drug charges are pending. The names of the two people have not been released. They are currently in custody in the Crawford County Jail.
