Two Vehicle Crash in Ferryville Sends Two to Hospital

A two vehicle crash in the village of Ferryville sends two people to the hospital.

A 1992 GMC Sonoma truck operated by John J. Hendrickson of rural Ferryville was southbound on Main Street when he veered onto the shoulder and struck a 2000 Ford Explorer owned by Daniel F. Bechtel of Ferryville.  After the initial crash, Hendrickson’s truck continued along Main Street for a quarter mile before coming to a stop. His vehicle had sustained extensive damage.

Both men were transported by ambulance to Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.

John J. Hendrickson was charged with an OWI, inatentive driving, hit and run, open intoxicancts, and failure to fasten his seatbelt.
