Bow deer registration stations are now set in Grant County, part of the Department of Natural Resources 11-county South Central Region (SCR) and the chronic wasting disease – Management Zone (CWD-MZ).

Most of the South Central Region is located in the CWD-MZ where the bow season runs from September 12 to Jan. 3, 2010, under the Earn-a-buck prerequisite.

Hunters in the CWD-MZ must first shoot an antlerless deer before they can harvest a buck during both the archery and gun seasons.
