Latest Crawford County Incident Report

Crawford County Sheriff Jerry Moran reported the following incidents for the week ending August 2, 2009.

On 07/27/09, a report was received of a hit and run to an unattended vehicle while it was parked at the Lakeview Bar and Grill on County Road K in Prairie du Chien. The complainant reported damage to the rear bumper and tailgate of his 2008 red GMC pick up truck.

On 07/30/09, a report was received of an alarm at the People’s State Bank in Seneca.

On 07/31/09, a report was received of a theft at 67805 State Hwy. 82, De Soto. Approximately 15 gallons of gasoline was missing from a 1999 black Chevrolet Silverado, while it was parked at the Big Slough boat landing. Also missing was a two gallon gas can containing outboard oil/gas mix.

On 08/01/09, a report was received of a burglary on Gran Grae Road, Prairie du Chien. A window was broke out and entry was gained to the residence. Nothing reported missing at this time.

On 08/02/09, a report was received of an animal bite at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Prairie du Chien. The cat involved was later caught and taken to the vet.

On 08/02/09, a report was received of a theft at the former Mickelson’s Market in Soldiers Grove. Items missing are unknown at this time.
