The Pickett Fence, along with the Partners of Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital and Hospice, will be holding a fundraiser during the store’s Christmas in July event this weekend.

Part of fund raising will come from a Charity Christmas stocking contest, says Pickett Fence owner Louanne Davis. “The gals can come in and pick up a stocking pattern,” she says, “They take that pattern and just run with it.  [They can] make any kind of stocking they would like.  The finishing stocking will be donated to Hospice and Partners of PdC Memorial Hospital.”

go to Hospice and Partners  Davis says, “Whatever stocking that collects the most money will win a $50 gift certificate from the Pickett Fence.”

In front of the store, Partners will be doing a pie and ice cream social  11am-3pm Friday & Saturday.  There will also be unique classes with Linda Halpin, product demos, specials, and contests.
