Pete’s Hamburgers Celebrates 100 Years

Pete’s Hamburgers Stand, currently in downtown Prairie du Chien, celebrates 100 years of existence this week.  PdCToday.com plans on shooting video of some of this weekend’s festivities.

Fan’s of Pete’s Hamburgers are encouraged to help celebrate the anniversary this weekend, July 3rd through July 5th.  Each day, there will be a drawing for a free hamburger every 100 minutes, a silent auction for Pete’s memorabilia, giveaways, and photo opportunities with the giant Pete’s Hamburger.

Jazz group Leading Edge will perform Saturday & Sunday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. They will perform a song specially written for Pete’s, a parody of a popular Jimmy Buffet song, “Pete’s Burgers in Prairie is Nice”.

John Mundt will be drawing caricatures Saturday & Sunday.

94.3FM will broadcast live from Pete’s Fridayfrom 11:00am until noon and Saturday from 10:30am until 11:30am.
