Heavy rains, violent lightning, high winds controlled the night Thursday and into early Friday morning.

Sirens sounded in Prairie du Chien around 10pm when a Tornado Warning took effect.  Cloud rotations were spotted near Eastman.

Flash flooding is of concern now with heavy rains continuing through the nighttime hours.

The severe storms also threaten many campers on St. Feriole Island for the Rendezvous this weekend.
