Lady Hawks Smash Five Homers in Win
By Dan Moris • May 16th, 2009 • Category: SportsThe Prairie du Chien Blackhawks softball team mashed five homeruns in a 12-2 6 inning win over River Valley. Lindsey Mezera homered twice. Alanna Skemp, Terrilyn Farmer, and Janyl Kozelka also homered for Prairie du Chien.
The Blackhawks begin tournament play next week. They are the top seeded team in their regional. Prairie du Chien is also the host city of the sectionals this year.
