Chase and OWI Arrest Near Bloomington

Palemon Mendoza Gonzalez, age 19, and Esteban Garcia Parache were arrested Sunday evening after leading a Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy on a chase on Country Road A and Maine Road near Bloomington.

Deputy John Barker observed two vehicles, driven by Gonzalez and Parache, speeding on County A. The two drivers continued to speed despite the officer’s pursuit and turned onto Maine Road. One vehicle slowed down and pulled over while the other continued to a residence at 10690 Maine Road [GoogleMap].

Gonzalez was arrested for knowingly fleeing an officer, OWI 1st offense, operating without a valid driver’s license (4th offense), non-registration of an auto, displaying unauthorized registration, and speeding.

Parache, the second driver, was arrested for OWI and speeding.
