At the 2009 Governor’s Conference on Economic Development, WEDA gave economic development outstanding achievement awards to Wisconsin’s top business, organization and individual. The City of Prairie du Chien took home the award for the organization being recognized with exceptional current contributions through the use of creativity, leadership, effort, investment or other qualities which furthered broad-based economic development goals and objectives within the State of Wisconsin.
